Everytime I thought of the script #1
Interactive video, color 6’00’’ loop with audio, 2006
The viewing of the film is activated by the touch of the mouse. The spectator is then moving within the image, in an extreme close-up within a fragment from a film which continues to play and unfold. We find ourselves within a remontage of a few sequences from Le Mépris (Jean-Luc Godard, 1963); moments where the characters, difficult to discern, are within large panoramic shots. The spectator, experiencing the interactive video, is invited to survey the original film, and to get lost, just as the characters within
the film who search but do not find each other,
lost within immense landscapes.
